Disciplines

Since 2021, Louise Baduel has been working with the same
artistic team to create her shows LOOP AFFECT (2021), SOLEIL CONSTANT (2024) and CHROMATIQUE (2025) in a collaborative and horizontal dynamic. 


Among the artists with whom she collaborates are Marc Mélia for music, Meri Ekola for lighting, Leslie Ferré for costumes, Donatien de le Court for set design and Pascale Gigon as an outside eye. 

This collective work is distinguished by its multidisciplinary
approach (dance and spoken word performances with a strong emphasis on performance, visual and sound aspects) and gives rise to hybrid pieces.

One day, by the pond, a duck comes across a strange figure clad in black gloves… 
‘Who are you? And why are you following me like my shadow?’ he asks.

In a setting as uncluttered as the pages of Wolf Erlbruch’s book, Paul and Violette explore, with humour and simplicity, the great mystery that is death.

There are no answers, but a journey that oscillates between light-heartedness and gravity, reminding us at every moment that life is precious, beautiful and fragile.

CRUCE

2024

CRUCE (‘crossing’ in English) is the physical narrative of a transformation – in the sense of a transition, migration or crossing – in search of free and monstrous* bodies. Four performer-warriors, both individual and interconnected, allow their movements to unravel and reassemble, transforming and reinventing themselves. The piece creates an extra-planetary space where movement becomes a ritual and a method for reaching the crossroads. CRUCE is a performative act of transformation.
