Guillemette Laurent

Guillemette Laurent is a French director born in 1973. She primarily works in text-based theatre. Committed to creating theatre for everyone, she seeks to share her passion with those for whom theatre is not a given. To do this, she works with both amateurs and professionals.

She teaches at the Conservatory of Mons and leads numerous workshops. After earning a Bachelor's degree in modern letters from Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle (1994), Guillemette began her Master's in theatre at the Sorbonne Nouvelle (1995) and studied directing at the National Higher Institute of Performing Arts and Broadcasting Techniques - INSAS (2000). She collaborates and co-founded the Company Le Colonel Astral.
