Vilma Pitrinaite

After studying gymnastics, Vilma Pitrinaite was hired as an interpreter in Lithuania.

Eager to broaden her horizons, she continued her training in France (Extensions/CDC de Toulouse, e.x.e.r.c.e/ CCN de Montpellier,...) and collaborated with numerous companies in France and Belgium such as La Zampa, François Verret, Vincent Thomasset, Karine Ponties/cie Dame de Pic, cie Mossoux-Bonté, cie Diphtong/Hubert Colas, Philippe Grandrieux.

Spotted at the Aerowaves festival, she created several pieces demonstrating audacity, whimsy, and an innate sense of offset.

Today, Vilma Pitrinaite is focusing solo on the figure of the rebel, borrowing with admiration and humor from the codes of rap, then drawing carefully and seriously from the energy of protest movements and resistance in Eastern countries.
