Until a Ball of Fear appears under the skylight… Lightning floods the room, the wind whistles across the roof. The Ball vibrates in a corner of the bedroom. The rain traces tears down Lydia’s face. She shivers under her duvet-tent. Ahead of her, a battle is brewing. She must face what terrifies her, what keeps her from sleeping and dreaming. She must act, she simply must…

Prepare, pack, deliver – ever faster, at a pace that is impossible to sustain. This is the social pressure under which hundreds of thousands of workers operate every day so that we, as consumers, can receive our deliveries ever more quickly.

In this one-man show inspired by real events, Aurélien Labruyère and Jean-Baptiste Delcourt plunge us into the hell of a multinational corporation, in a tale reminiscent of a modern-day epic. A play that is political, social and civic.

At the heart of the plot is a man who is at once narrator, accomplice and witness to the story. Christian, an activist for the revolutionary cause, wants to wage the struggle from within and gets himself hired by the retail giant. Just as he is on the verge of securing a promotion, his strategy is uncovered and he is sacked on the spot.

A legal battle then ensues to expose the group’s abusive practices and take the firm to court.
