Marcos Arriola is an Argentine artist based between Paris and Brussels. He trained in contemporary dance at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires and holds a diploma in physical performance from the School of Physical Theatre in Buenos Aires (ETBA).
In Paris, he continued his training at the Centre National de la Danse and obtained a bachelor’s degree in dance from the University of Paris 8. In Brussels, he undertook the Certificate in Choreographic Practices at Charleroi-Danse, in partnership with La Cambre and INSAS. He also trained in the Body Weather technique with the New York-based choreographer Sherwood Chen, a resident member of Mai Juku, directed by Min Tanaka in Japan.

As a performer, he has collaborated with Boris Charmatz, Elizabeth Czerczuk, Sherwood Chen, Silvio Lang and Julien Herrault, and appeared in a film by Jacques Audiard in collaboration with Damien Jalet. He has worked for Opéra Ballet Vlaanderen and appeared in Patric Chiha’s film *La Bête dans la Jungle*.

As a choreographer, he has created *Agua*, *Work the Cruce!* and *CRUCE*. He is currently touring *Joyaux lourdement sous-estimés* by Bast-Hippocrates and collaborating with Paula Rosolen on *Crash Test #5: THEATER*. His work is part of the contemporary scene in Brussels, notably with Les Halles, WIELS, Atelier 210 and AMA Productions.
