Royal because the company has existed since 1941 and after 50 years of existence, King Baudouin granted us the title of "Royal".
Puppets because since its creation the company has been performing traditional Liège puppet theatre. A tradition that it carries and has maintained in a form of contemporary artistic expression according to the creative whims of Didier Balsaux.
