Le Collectif Scratch
Disciplines
The collective's universe is based on scratch, juggling, silly choreographies, anti-climax and Belgian surrealism. "The scratches" have fun staging anything and everything, constantly reminding themselves that anything is possible but not just anything.
Object manipulation is at the heart of the company's research: balls, clubs and manipulation of the set.
We have four shows (one on tour, three others in creation):
It's Free - indoor show - All audiences - 75 min
A clownish duo project that aims to play out the relationships between a dog and "its" master, a trainer and "his" beast, a man and "his" pet.
It dusts off the ancient practice of training and at the same time raises the following question: what does it mean to be a male today?
The strong bond that unites the two protagonists for life will be put at the service of the sensitive clown in order to experience, express and share a wide range of emotions. We are working to create a circus piece for all audiences, poetic, funny, technical, impressive and filled with animality and humanity.
Jogalli, the show where you are the hero - in creation, release scheduled for May 2025 - All audiences
Jogalli is an immersive and interactive juggling experience for public spaces, inspired by the series "The book where you are the hero". Like these stories, Christian and the audience will move forward together in a multiple-choice quest. The goal? To become the next Jogalli, the master of juggling champions. To preserve peace in the world.
WA|T|T ? - in creation, release scheduled for April 2026
WA|T|T ? is an emerging digital-juggling adventure, featuring three jugglers, three computers, a musician and a swarm of various electronic components.
Love? Betrayal? Cooperation? What will be the relationships between these different actors? Where and how will this modern epic end? Only one way to find out... Go all the way.
On the edge - in creation, release scheduled for May 2027 - All audiences
On the edge is a show that tries to go somewhere on the edge, on the edge of circus and mathematics and towards Alexandre Grothendieck, a mathematician who went a bit too far.
The story, inspired by real events, of my quest for the lost mathematician Alexandre Grothendieck.
Telling with the clown and the movement my convergence towards a man who had many convergence problems in his life and trying to see more clearly in my life convergence problems.
Lost in the storm.
Searching for the beam of a lighthouse.
Finding one's demons.
